Algae and Aquatic Vegetation on a Float at Grand Calumet River at Cline Avenue, Indiana

Aquatic vegetation and algae are attached to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene foam (pool noodle) floats that hold water quality sondes. These sondes were part of a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative funded project assessing eutrophication in the Grand Calumet River Area of Concern.
