Chris makes a wading measurement

Chris is holding a FlowTracker during a stream wading measurement. The FlowTracker is an acoustic doppler velocimeter. Using a transducer, it sends out sound waves to track particle speeds in the water. Hydrologic technicians attach the FlowTracker to a wading rod to measure the flow in streams and rivers.
