Detailed Description
Climate-niche species richness for the late-century future RCP 8.5 climate scenario. A species' climate-niche is the area with suitable temperature and precipitation. Climate-niches are projected to expand and shift northward in the future. RCP 8.5 is a climate scenario assuming carbon emissions continue at current levels.
