Climate-niche species richness map for recent climate scenario

Detailed Description

This figure displays the climate-niche species richness for reptiles in western North America in the recent time period (1985-2010). Areas shaded in yellow have climate that is suitable for a larger number of reptile species, and areas in dark purple are suitable for fewer species. Researchers collected data on reptile species distributions from many different sources to compile this dataset.
