Detailed Description
Ice-rich bluff along Alaska's northern coast in early September 2007, during a period of mild, persistent easterly winds. Despite the absence of westerly storms, traditionally believed to drive coastal erosion in this region, waves were undermining the bluff at this time, as shown in this video clip.
