"Geology of the National Parks" at Petroglyph National Monument

NMWSC Hydrologist, Anne Tillery, joined UNC Charlotte instructor, Jake Armour, at Petroglyphs National Monument on a windy Sunday afternoon to address his class "Geology of the National Parks" on the first of their 7 day tour of National Parks in the Four Corners area. Students were curious about water supply and how water rights work in New Mexico, and wanted to hear about careers with the USGS and the types of projects the NMWSC hydrologists conduct. Thanks to Mr. Armour for the invitation, and all those students who braved the windy conditions to listen to Ms. Tillery talk about the USGS in New Mexico.
