Peak discharges recorded during Hurricane Joaquin (early October 2015) compared to historical peaks for three sites in South Carolina. The left-most value represents the current discharge on the day these charts were exported, January 21, 2026. For the Black River at Kingstree, SC (02136000) and Smith Branch at North Main St at Columbia, SC (02162093) streamgages, the Hurricane Joaquin flow remains the highest recorded peak ten years later.
