Detailed Description

Reconfigured Channel Monitoring. A total-station survey or a survey-grade GPS survey is recommended for channel monitoring. The channel survey must produce location (Northing and Easting) and elevation data that can be used to quantify longitudinal and cross-sectional characteristics of the reach.  Illustration showing plan view of a channel survey
