Landsat Collection 1 vs Collection 2 TIRS Striping Comparison

This image illustrates the reduction in striping for a sample TIRS Band 10 image acquired on Dec 26, 2019.The image on the left was processed with Collection-1 and the image on the right was processed with Collection-2.

Both images are scaled to the same radiometric range. The reduction in the level of striping is clear across the relatively uniform water body.
