LDWF Coastal Study Areas (CSA) of coastal Louisiana estuaries shown in yellow, borrowed from the LDWF Louisiana Oyster 2019 Stock Assessment Report of the Public Oyster Seed Grounds and Reservations of Louisiana. Specific areas within these CSAs were chosen for metapopulation modeling as follows: Barataria Bay within CSA 3, Terrebonne Basin within CSA 5, Chandeleur Sound within CSA 1, and Calcasieu Lake within CSA 7.
