Detailed Description
A Citizen Science Flyer requesting people to mail in deceased butterflies, moths, and skippers to help begin a USGS Scientific Collection to further research related to the decline of insect populations. Citizen Science effort and the establishment of the research collection, entitled Lepidoptera Research Collection, is spearheaded by Julie Dietze, of the Organic Geochemistry Research Laboratory at the KS WSC and supported by the USGS Ecosystems Mission Area Enivronmental Health Program.
