Detailed Description
USGS Bird Banding Lab permitted graduate student holds a female mallard while waiting for glue to dry on the transmitter. Then the bird will be released, of to collect data for the Eastern Mallard Project which aims to comprehensively study drivers of reproductive success, survival, and habitat use throughout the full annual cycle of Mallards.
