McKinley high performance computer

McKinley is one of two new high-performance computing options that arrived at the USGS EROS Center in 2019, along with a second system called Tallgrass.

Note: In accordance with EO 14172, Restoring Names that Honor American Greatness and SO #3424 - Mount McKinley and Landmarks Honoring the Alaskan People, all USGS publications moving forward will reinstate the name Mount McKinley. Therefore, moving forward, the USGS supercomputer Denali will be referenced as McKinley. Per USGS practice, historical publications and media files will retain the name Denali as it was called at the time of initial publication.
