Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center Director Dr. Rob Thieler was interviewed by France 2 TV correspondent Agnes Vahramian about erosion in Cape Cod. Rob brought Agnes and camera man Thomas Donzez to Surf Drive beach and the Shining Sea Bikeway in Falmouth, MA to illustrate the effects of erosion, while explaining and answering questions about the myriad hazards posed by storm events and chronic long-term coastal erosion, such as threats to infrastructure, recreation, natural resources, and overall coastal resiliency.
