October 2024 Streamflow

Streamflow tiles show flow levels through the month of October 2024. Much of the Eastern and Central U.S. saw dry conditions for states such as Delaware, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Iowa. Concurrently, Florida and Puerto Rico saw wet conditions as tropical storms and Hurricane Helene made landfall. For each state, an area chart shows the proportion of streamgages in wet, normal, or dry conditions. Streamflow conditions are quantified using percentiles comparing the past month’s flow levels to the historic record for each streamgage..
