Dianne Gropper (USGS) shows visitors some of the outreach materials at the USGS South Dakota Water Science Center outreach booth at Dakotafest 2011 held in August in Mitchell, SD. The display booth included an interactive groundwater-flow model and the opportunity for visitors to make their own aquifer in a test tube. Dakotafest is the largest farm show in the South Dakota area.
