Periodic table showing critical minerals produced as byproducts / coproducts
Detailed Description
Many critical minerals are geologically sparse, mixed in trace amounts into geologic deposits rich in another mineral. These are primarily produced as coproduct or byproduct minerals during mining of another mineral because they are too expensive to mine as the primary product.
This periodic table shows, highlighted in orange, minerals on the 2025 List of Critical Minerals that are produced as coproducts or byproducts.
