Holding banded Black-bellied Whistling Ducks are band resight extraordinaire Alvin Attenhofer on the left and on the right Paul Link, Research Program Manager of LA Department of Wildlife & Fisheries. These Black-bellied Whistling Ducks are a part of a project initiated in 2011 which studies the movement ecology and survival of this duck species in south Louisiana. (Credit: Michael Slazer)
