Scientist initiates hydrophones on the Illinois River
Detailed Description
A researcher prepares to install hydrophones to monitor underwater sounds associated with an acoustic fish passage deterrent on the Illinois River. The temporary system was deployed to prevent upstream movement of invasive carp during scheduled maintenance on existing electrical barriers.
