The South Carolina StreamStats application has provided tools and efficiency to the SCDOT and other engineers and water-resources planners throughout the state. StreamStats decreases previously labor-intensive tasks to minutes and provides reliable and repeatable calculations for basin delineations, basin characteristics, and flood-frequency data. With those same benefits in mind, there are more tasks that can be expedited and standardized with streamlined automation. By adding a flood information derivative toolset and enhancing the South Carolina StreamStats with additional tools, the functionality will continue to increase the usefulness and efficiency of the application providing additional cost savings to the users and consistent results throughout the South Carolina water-resources community.
