Space in Stereo

Shown in the photo is David Mayer alongside USGS Director Ned Mamula. David is presenting Astro’s photogrammetric workstations to visitors (unseen in photo), demonstrating methods used to generate digital elevation models and orthorectified images from spacecraft data. The demonstrations featured lunar and Martian examples that help with surface operations for missions including Artemis IV and Mars 2020. Other demonstrators of photogrammetry work were speakers Ben Wheeler, Mike Bland, and Lori Pigue.
