Detailed Description

Unleased Fury: Captured on Monday, May 15, 2023; shortly after 9 p.m., Sunday, May 14, debris cascaded 2,000 feet on Mt. St. Helens above SR 504, burying the roadway beneath with a mix of rock, mud, ice, and water. The debris flow left behind

catastrophic damage to the Spirit Lake Outlet Bridge within the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.
