Tim Smith of USGS EROS in the Film Archive

Tim Smith, Information Management Services archive task lead and EROS history buff, talks about the history of the film archive stored in the basement at the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS). The climate-controlled archive meets NARA standards to safely preserve legacy media such as the 50-plus-year Landsat tapes as well as space, aerial and declassfied imagery.
