Venus images II

Detailed Description
Left: Surface features, mostly elevation, seen in images captured by NASA’s Parker Solar Probe of the first visible light images of the surface of Venus which matches the features mapped by USGS Astrogeology Science Center image processing team in Flagstaff, Arizona. Photo credit: NASA/APL/NRL. Right: The colors on the right are used to indicate elevation (blue is low, red is high). Higher altitudes are a little less dreadfully hot, so their thermal “glow” is not as bright as the lowlands. Photo credit:; Magellan Team/JPL/USGS.
