Visit to EROS from NASA STEM for Girls Summer Camp

Eighteen enthusiastic middle school students from the NASA STEM for Girls Summer Camp, joined by professors from Augustana University and aspiring teachers, ventured to the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center on May 29, 2024. The immersive field trip experience allowed this next generation of scientists to delve into the fascinating world of Earth observation and satellite imaging. Through presentations and hands-on activities, they connected with accomplished women at EROS and learned about rewarding career paths in STEM fields.
