On October 14, 2014, staff scientist Kris Ludwig spoke on disaster scenarios and the use of strategic science during crisis at a workshop on resilience research at Virginia Tech University's campus in Arlington, VA. The workshop is part of the Global Forum on Urban and Regional Resilience (GFURR) New Perspectives on Regional Resilience Conference and focuses on ecosystems and the built environment.
