Lucy Jones Receives 2016 WSSPC Lifetime Achievement Award
The Western States Seismic Policy Council (WSSPC) has announced Dr. Lucy Jones as the recipient of the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award, to be presented at the 2016 National Earthquake Conference on May 5th at the Hilton in Long Beach, California. The award recognizes for Lucy’s outstanding research contributions, scientific leadership, and novel approaches to earthquake communication and risk reduction through interdisciplinary partnerships and scenario development.
