USGS Participates in Cascadia Earthquake Tweet Chat

On January 26th, the 316th anniversary of the Great Cascadia Earthquake, the USGS, FEMA, NOAA and regional planners took part in an effort to raise awareness in preparation for the Pacific Northwest's next big earthquake. Joan Gomberg and Kris Ludwig participated as subject matter experts for a 10 a.m. Twitter chat (hashtag #CascadiaEQ) involving an hour of Q&A about earthquakes and preparedness.
