The Lidar Base Specification has a newsletter! 

The 3DEP Lidar Base Specification (LBS) has a faster revision process than in the past. The revision status of the LBS is now being updated on a web page that links to details of each proposed revision. Updates to the status are announced through the 3DEP Lidar Base Spec News. 

3DEP Lidar Base Specification revision process

A new revision process was introduced with the release of LBS v. 2.0. Proposed revisions are reviewed and approved by the Elevation Specifications Review Board (ESRB) and the 3DEP Working Group. This process allows for a much faster update cycle than with previous versions. 

Lidar Base Specification Revision Status 

The status of revisions to the 3DEP Lidar Base Specification are available at the LBS Revision Status page. This page will be updated whenever the status of the revisions change or when new revisions are added. In order to better communicate the status of revisions, the 3DEP Lidar Base Spec News (LBS News) newsletter was created. The LBS News will be sent out when changes are made to the status of a revision. Furthermore, the LBS News is sent out to an e-mail listserv, the 3DEP_Lidar_Spec_News.
