Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Looe Key, Florida, 2004-2016 Seafloor Elevation Stability Models, Maps, and Tables Looe Key, Florida, 2004-2016 Seafloor Elevation Stability Models, Maps, and Tables
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC) conducted research to identify areas of seafloor elevation stability and instability based on elevation changes between the years of 2004 and 2016 at Looe Key coral reef near Big Pine Key, Florida, within a 16.37 square-kilometer area. USGS SPCMSC staff used seafloor elevation-change data from...

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC) conducted research to identify areas of seafloor elevation stability and instability based on elevation changes between the years of 2002 and 2016 in the Upper Florida Keys (UFK) from Triumph Reef to Pickles Reef within a 242.4 square-kilometer area. USGS SPCMSC staff used seafloor elevation...
A Multiresidue Method for the Analysis of Pesticides in Water using Solid-Phase Extraction with Gas and Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (ver. 2.0, April 2023) A Multiresidue Method for the Analysis of Pesticides in Water using Solid-Phase Extraction with Gas and Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (ver. 2.0, April 2023)
Applications of pesticides in agricultural and urban settings play an essential role in increasing crop yields, preserving food and materials, reducing pest-borne diseases, and eradicating or deterring pests. Pesticides are transported from their point of application to environmental media, including surface water. To better understand the fate of fate and transport of pesticides in the
Acoustic doppler current profiler (ADCP) data collection of water flow at Benicia Bridge, 2004 Acoustic doppler current profiler (ADCP) data collection of water flow at Benicia Bridge, 2004
This data release contains acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) data used in generating a model of sediment flux through Carquinez Strait, CA at Benicia Bridge. The ADCP outputs binary data files containing measurement scheme, location, time, velocity, backscatter, boat heading, depth, and other parameters. There are two forms of data provided, one collected from two transects along...
Data release: Walleye Thermal Optical Habitat Area (TOHA) of selected Minnesota lakes Data release: Walleye Thermal Optical Habitat Area (TOHA) of selected Minnesota lakes
Climate change and land use change have been shown to influence lake temperatures and water clarity in different ways. To better understand the diversity of lake responses to climate change and give managers tools to manage individual lakes, we focused on improving prediction accuracy for daily water temperature profiles and optical habitat in 881 lakes in Minnesota during 1980-2018. The...
