Supporting files for a Langrangian particle tracking model evaluation of sediment exposure and burial for freshwater mussels Supporting files for a Langrangian particle tracking model evaluation of sediment exposure and burial for freshwater mussels

This project contains field data and supporting files for a Lagrangian particle tracking (LPT) model at a representative reach on the Osage River, Missouri. Field datasets include a topobathymetric digital elevation model (DEM) for a 5-km reach of the Osage River, water surface elevation profiles, and velocity data collected with acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP). Channel...

Data Associated with a Multi-Stage Captive Trial Assessing the Effects of Saxitoxin Ingestion by Common Murres (Uria aalge) Data Associated with a Multi-Stage Captive Trial Assessing the Effects of Saxitoxin Ingestion by Common Murres (Uria aalge)

This data set is comprised of results associated with a multi-stage experimental study to determine the effects of paralytic shellfish toxin ingestion by Common Murres (Uria aalge) conducted in 2021-2022. Data is comprised of eight spreadsheets covering each phase of the study including specific bird dosing data, behavioral observation data, foraging trial data, and tissue testing...

Linear Ditches of Northeastern U.S. Coastal Marshes from Maine to Virginia Derived from 2023 2D Aerial Imagery Basemap Linear Ditches of Northeastern U.S. Coastal Marshes from Maine to Virginia Derived from 2023 2D Aerial Imagery Basemap

Salt marshes of the Northeastern United States (Maine to Virginia) are vulnerable to loss given their history of intensive human alteration. One direct human modification – ditching – was common across the Northeast for salt hay farming since European Colonization and for mosquito control in the first half of the 20th century. We hand-digitized linear ditches across Northeastern...

Selected Basin Boundaries for USGS Streamgages in Alaska through 2019 Selected Basin Boundaries for USGS Streamgages in Alaska through 2019

This dataset contains drainage basin boundaries for 253 U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) streamgages in Alaska that had at least 5 years of daily streamflow through September 30, 2017, three of which were delineated for alternate basin conditions. This compilation includes selected boundaries produced in 2014 (https://doi.org/10.5066/P143KNEJ). Additional basin boundaries were delineated...

Selected Basin Boundaries for USGS Streamgages in Alaska Through 2014 Selected Basin Boundaries for USGS Streamgages in Alaska Through 2014

This dataset contains 474 drainage basin boundaries for U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) streamgages in Alaska, including supplemental drainage basin boundaries for alternate conditions for 3 of the 471 streamgages. The basin boundaries were delineated from the streamgage location to the nearest USGS Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD) HUC boundary and along HUC boundaries from that...

Detection of the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Elodea canadensis and E. nuttallii Using Environmental DNA (eDNA), Alaska Detection of the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Elodea canadensis and E. nuttallii Using Environmental DNA (eDNA), Alaska

This data set is comprised of one table with sampling information and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) BioProject accession numbers for sequence information of this amplicon-based study targeting Elodea canadensis and E. nuttallii in freshwater systems of Alaska from environmental samples. Highly conserved primers which can differentiate these species of interest were...
