Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

U-Pb Isotopic Data and Ages of Detrital Zircon from Selected Rocks from northern Yukon, Canada U-Pb Isotopic Data and Ages of Detrital Zircon from Selected Rocks from northern Yukon, Canada
This data set contains U-Pb isotopic data and associated ages of detrital zircon from sedimentary and metasedimentary rocks collected in northern Yukon, Canada. The samples were originally collected as part of geological mapping and research conducted by the Geological Survey of Canada. They were recovered from archived collections and sent to the U.S. Geological Survey for analysis of...
Textural occurrence and organic porosity of solid bitumen in shales Textural occurrence and organic porosity of solid bitumen in shales
This study presents Raman spectroscopic data paired with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to assess solid bitumen composition and porosity development as a function of solid bitumen texture and association with minerals. A series of hydrous pyrolysis experiments (1-103 days, 300-370°C) using a low maturity (0.25% solid bitumen reflectance, BRo), high total organic carbon [(TOC), 14.0...
Model Archive Data for Suspended-Sediment Regression at Station 071948095, Mud Creek near Johnson, AR Model Archive Data for Suspended-Sediment Regression at Station 071948095, Mud Creek near Johnson, AR
Data from an optical turbidity sensor deployed at the stream station were recorded at 15-minute intervals by a data logger and uploaded every hour to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) database (Anderson, 2005; Wagner, 2006). Suspended-sediment samples were collected using equal width increments or grab sampling techniques (Edwards, 1999). The use of an optical sensor to continuously...

Data from an optical turbidity sensor deployed at the stream station were recorded at 15-minute intervals by a data logger and uploaded every hour to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) database (Anderson, 2005; Wagner, 2006). Suspended-sediment samples were collected using an ISCO automatic sampler (suction pump), equal width increments or grab sampling techniques (Edwards, 1999). The use...

Groundwater, surface water, sediment and soil sampling was conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) at nine groundwater wells, eight surface water sites, three bed sediment retention ponds, and two fields, respectively at areas near and within the Open Burning/Open Detonation (OB/OD) areas in the Ammunition Area (AA) of Letterkenny Army Depot. Analytical results for groundwater...
