SMRP maintains robust research portfolios on numerous species in support of Department of the Interior’s management responsibility and concerns related to climate change and other species stressors. Research includes birds, amphibians, salmon, bats, pollinators, insects, manatees, sea otters, mollusks, walrus, and polar bears.
