State | Project Title | Project Summary |
---|---|---|
Georgia | Data Quality Improvements to Non-Farm Surface Water & Groundwater Program Usage Database to support Georgia EPD WUDR Project | This project to be completed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources will build upon the FY2021 project, and will help ensure the completion of the approved Georgia Work Plan. Database improvements will help to streamline activities within the Non-Farm Surface Water and Groundwater Units while facilitating greater data integration within the Withdrawal Units and with other Georgia EPD programs. The proposed tasks will improve data collection, analysis, and transmittal of data managed by the Non-Farm Surface Water and Groundwater Units. Proposed improvements are described alongside the corresponding improvements to Georgia EPD’s performance according to the USGS Baseline Standards. These improvements will enable more efficient and effective data analysis by Georgia EPD and other parties, such as USGS, that rely on the collection and quality of Georgia EPD water use data. |
