Rodent repellent studies. IV. Preparation and properties of trinitrobenzene-aryl amine complexes

January 1, 1953

Data are presented on methods of preparation, chemical and physical characteristics, toxicity, and repellency to rodents of complexes of symmetrical trinitrobenzene with various aromatic amines. When applied in suitable carriers or incorporated in plastic films, members of this series of materials were shown to offer significant increases in time required by wild rodents to damage common packaging materials.
