Workshop on automatic and interactive processing of seismic network data
On October 5 and 6, 1976, a small workshop was held at the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, California, to discuss recent advances and future goals in automatic and interactive processing of network data used in earthquake prediction research. The group consisted of 35 engineers, computer programmers, and seismologists from universities, industry, and government research laboratories across the country. There was intensive discussion. A number of important conclusions were reached that will be listed after a brief review of the information presented.
