PRMS CONUS Futures Portal
May 12, 2026
Projected streamflow statistics have broad potential utility in evaluating future conditions of habitat quality for imperiled species. Future daily streamflow simulations are available via the Precipitation-Runoff Modeling System (PRMS) application of the USGS National Hydrological Model (NHM) for the conterminous United States (CONUS), but there remain barriers to user accessibility and interpretability of the data. This tool was designed to enable users to easily access and interpret the PRMS CONUS Future streamflow projections, with options for general data visualization and exploration for individual stream segments as well as metrics describing model and metric uncertainty.
