Abraham Meyerhofer

Abe is a Hydrologic Technician working out of the New Hampshire office of the New England Water Science Center.

Biography

Experience: 

Abe has been with the USGS since 2016.  Prior to joining the survey, Abe worked as an assistant  surveyor in Kodiak, AK, as operations and maintainence technician for Chugach State Park, AK, as a research assistant studying snow alga on the Harding Icefield outside of Seward, AK, and as a commercial fisherman in Bristol Bay, AK.

Education:  

B.S. Earth Science, Alaska Pacific University, 2016.  Senior Project:  Eklutna Basin Soil Hydrology-using existing landcover and surficial geology datasets to predict soil types

Current Projects:

Abe is a member of the regional LSPIV workgroup developing next generation discharge measurement and streamgaging techniques through video capture, as well as a member of the New England WSC social media team.
