Allison Atkinson
Allison is a civil engineer and is presently working for the USGS at the Central Midwest Science Center.
Allison Atkinson joined the USGS in 2023 as part of the Surface Water Hydraulics & Modeling group within the Central Midwest Water Science Center. Her work centers around H&H modeling of river systems for the purposes of flood inundation mapping and related projects. Prior to joining the USGS, Allison worked in the Civil Engineering consulting industry on a variety of projects from H&H modeling and land development to water main design and permitting coordination.
