Andrew Maguire, Ph.D.
Andrew Maguire is a Climate Adaptation Service Scientist with the Climate Adaptation Technical Services (CATS) initiative of the USGS National Climate Adaptation Science Center.
Andy is a Climate Adaptation Service Scientist with the Climate Adaptation Technical Services program in the National Climate Adaptation Science Center, supporting the Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center. His research background is in terrestrial ecology with a focus on vegetation dynamics in response to changing environmental and climatic conditions. Complementing over a decade of experience studying Arctic and boreal ecosystems, Andy is interested in diverse ecosystems and applying optical remote sensing and biophysical models to advance global change science. In his role, conducts novel analyses and provides curated scientific interpretation for land and resource management partners to adapt to climate change.
