Chloë O Glover, PhD

Chloë Glover is a Mendenhall Fellow with the GMEG Science Center in Portland, OR. She received her Ph.D. in Geology and Environmental Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024. Glover studied both geology and geophysics, and her research focused on the geometry, rate of deformation, exhumation, and landscape response in the central and southern Peruvian Andes.

Chloë joined the USGS in 2025 as a Mendenhall Postdoctoral Fellow working with Lydia Staisch. At the USGS, she is working with EarthMRI geophysical data sets and integrating structural data to identify critical mineral resources and the tectonic context of Northeastern Washington State. She is interested in geologic and geophysical modeling, geomorphology, fieldwork, and education/outreach.
