Christopher A Hyder
Chris is a biological science technician at the Wyoming-Montana Water Science Center focusing on stream ecology.
Chris began working with the U.S. Geological Survey during the summer of 2024 after graduating from UC Santa Barbara. At the USGS, he aims to better understand the legacy of mining on aquatic ecosystems by focusing on macroinvertebrate communities. Chris’ broader interests include using remote sensing data to link relationships between water transport and biological processes across large-scale landscapes.
