Lily L Delmarsh
Lily is a Hydrologic Technician with the USGS Colorado Water Science Center (COWSC) in Lakewood, CO.
Lily Delmarsh grew up in Upstate New York on the waters of the Adirondack Mountains. She received her master’s from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 2021. Her thesis research focused on the fecundity and life history patterns of Mysis diluviana in Lake Champlain. She discovered her passion for limnology during her time as a research assistant for the Lake Champlain Research Institute. Lily began her USGS career as a Hydrologic Technician in 2022 for the COWSC. She is part of the Lakewood Field Office lake and reservoir sampling efforts and acts as a vessel operator. She is interested in water chemistry data analytics, watershed health, and food web interactions.
