Ryan P Dunn
Ryan is a Safety Program Coordinator and Hydrologic Technician with the USGS Colorado Water Science Center (COWSC) in Denver, CO.
Ryan began his career with the survey in 2019 as a Hydrologic Technician for the COWSC (Pueblo field office), moved to the Lakewood field office in 2021, and become a core member of the safety team for the center. Prior to joining the USGS, Ryan worked in southeast Alaska as a Fisheries Technician for the USFS (2013-2019).
With the experience in Alaska and Colorado, Ryan has been directly involved in collecting data in extreme conditions and environments with safety as the utmost priority. He thoroughly enjoys providing training, assistance, and helping mitigate hazards staff may experience while performing their job duties.
