Sidney Millner is a Physical Scientist in the USGS Water Resources Mission Area

Sidney joined the USGS Water Mission Area in 2024. Since joining the USGS, Sidney has worked on understanding the effects that wildfires can have on water supplies. In addition, Sidney is a part of a team working on assessing how landscape disturbances such as wildfire, mining, and flooding impact water quality and availability.

Her research at Auburn focused on understanding how land use impacts private well water quality in coastal Alabama and how at-home test kits can serve as a resource for private well owners to understand their water quality.
