Update to foundational GIS layers in Maine StreamStats

A StreamStats migration on March 10, 2023, updated the foundational GIS layers used in Maine StreamStats.

The New England Water Science center has developed new GIS datasets which will result in more accurate basin delineations and basin characteristics computations. These data were compiled from the high-resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) and the Maine Lidar-Derived Watersheds (Sturtevant and Schoen, 2022), and can be found in the related data tab below.
