• Field Definition:  The dataset associated with the scene.

          Valid Codes:

          EO1-ALI

          EO1-HYPERION

          ETM+ (Landsat ETM+)

         MSS (Landsat MSS)

         SRTM

         TM (Landsat TM)

 

Entity ID

• Field Definition:  The naming convention of each scene is based on acquisition parameters.

          Values:

          EO-1 ALI and Hyperion

 

         Format: EO1SPPPRRRYYYYDDDXXXML_GGG_VV

         Where:

         EO1 = Satellite

         S = Sensor (H=Hyperion A=ALI)

        PPP = Target WRS Path

        RRR = Target WRS Row

        YYYY = Year of Acquisition

        DDD = Julian Day of Acquisition

        X (0=off; 1=on) Hyperion

        X (0=off; 1=on) ALI

        X (0=off; 1=on) AC

        M = Pointing Mode*

        L = Scene Length**

       GGG = Ground/Receiving Station

       VV = Version Number

 

       *Pointing Mode

       N = Nadir

       P = Pointed within Path/Row

       K = Pointed outside Path/Row

 

      **Scene Length

      F = Full Scene

      P = Partial Scene

      Q = Second Partial Scene

      S = Swath

      0 - 9 = Special Modes 0 - 9

      Remainder of alphabet are EDC collects

     L = Landsat

     X = Sensor (M = MSS, T = TM, E = ETM+)

     DDDD = Dataset designator (SRTM)

     R = Resolution (1 = 1 Arc-Second US Coverage, 3 = 3 Arc-Second Global Coverage)

     H = Hemisphere (N = North, S = South Hemisphere)

     LL = Lower Left Corner Latitude

     H = Hemisphere (E = East, W = West Hemisphere)

     LLL = Lower Left Corner Longitude

     VV = Version (1 = SRTM Non-Void Filled, 3 = 1 Arc-Second Global)
