USGS Director Applegate and Associate Director Kinsinger Visit GLSC
USGS Director and Associate Director make first visit to the Great Lakes Science Center
USGS Director, David Applegate, and Associate Director for Ecosystems, Anne Kinsinger, visited GLSC on October 19, 2022. The visit came on the heels of a two-day meeting attended by Applegate and Kinsinger with the Great Lakes Council of Lake Committees in Detroit, Michigan, where the Director participated in USGS’ annual reporting on Great Lakes fishery science. The visit to GLSC included an overview of GLSC science and a tour of the Ann Arbor, Michigan, laboratory. The tour was followed by a discussion with Erika Jensen and Eric Brown, Executive Director and Senior Advisor for External Relations, respectively, of the Great Lakes Commission.
