SPCMSC coral disease expert presents at an invitation-only international workshop to determine future research priorities for the field

Dr. Christina Kellogg (SPCMSC Research Microbiologist) will present and participate in a 3-day international workshop funded by Coral Research & Development Accelerator Platform (CORDAP) to determine future research priorities globally for coral disease research.
This workshop in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, brings together ~30 international experts to discuss the current state of knowledge about coral disease, what information can potentially be applied from other marine disease research, and to determine future directions and approaches to combatting coral diseases. CORDAP was launched in 2020 as a global organization to fast-track research and development solutions to save the world’s corals.
