Groundwater Levels and Surface-Water Stages on March 28, 2023, near the Quashnet River, Mashpee, Massachusetts
The U.S. Geological Survey measured groundwater levels and surface-water stages on March 28, 2023, near the Quashnet River in the town of Mashpee on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Groundwater levels and surface-water stages were measured over a ~7 hour time period to provide a synoptic snapshot of the water table and the water surfaces of streams, lakes, wetlands, and drainage ditches. The configurations of groundwater levels and surface-water stages can be used to evaluate general directions of water flow and water-flux directions across groundwater/surface-water boundaries within the study area during the measurement period. This data release contains the groundwater-level and surface-water stage measurements collected on March 28, 2023, near the Quashnet River in tabular format (a comma-separated values [.csv] file).
